- 1 cup all purpose flour
- ¼ cup water
Spices & seasonings (2): salt, salt
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp salt
How to make it
Steps in our own plain words.
-
Bring water plus salt to a boil to boil your dumplings in a large pot.
-
Mix your all-purpose flour plus salt, stirring to distribute the salt throughout the flour in a large mixing bowl.
-
Gradually add water to the flour mix, mixing with your hands till a dough forms.
-
Divide the dough in equal-sized bits, rolling each into a smooth ball.
-
Flatten every ball a bit using your palm of hand to form a round, circular dumpling.
-
It should look like a thick disk.
-
Drop the dumplings in the boiling water, one each time, ensuring that they 't stick together.
-
Use a wooden spoon to mix the dumplings in the water.
-
Boil the dumplings for 15-20 minutes, until they're cooked through plus have risen to your surface of the water.
-
Stir every so often to prevent sticking.
-
Use a slotted spoon to remove your cooked dumplings from your pot, allowing any excess water to drain.
-
Serve with your favorite recipes.
