  • 12 cups water
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • ¾ cup water
Spices & seasonings (2): salt, salt
  • 2 ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ tsp salt

How to make it

Steps in our own plain words.

  1. Bring water plus salt to a boil to boil your dumplings in a large pot.

  2. Mix your all-purpose flour plus salt, stirring to distribute the salt throughout the flour in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Gradually add water to the flour mix, mixing with your hands till a dough forms.

  4. Divide the dough in equal-sized bits, rolling each into a smooth ball.

  5. Flatten every ball a bit using your palm of hand to form a round, circular dumpling.

  6. It should look like a thick disk.

  7. Drop the dumplings in the boiling water, one each time, ensuring that they 't stick together.

  8. Use a wooden spoon to mix the dumplings in the water.

  9. Boil the dumplings for 15-20 minutes, until they're cooked through plus have risen to your surface of the water.

  10. Stir every so often to prevent sticking.

  11. Use a slotted spoon to remove your cooked dumplings from your pot, allowing any excess water to drain.

  12. Serve with your favorite recipes.
