How to make it

Steps in our own plain words.

  1. Heat fryer to 350°F.

  2. Well mix all the spice mix ingredients.

  3. Mix spice mix with flour.

  4. Brown sugar and salt.

  5. Dip chicken bits in egg white to lightly coat them.

  6. Move to flour mixture.

  7. Turn some times plus make sure the flour mix is stuck to the chicken.

  8. Repeat with all the chicken pieces.

  9. Let chicken bits rest for 5 min so crust has chance to dry a bit.

  10. Fry chicken in batches.

  11. Breasts and wings should take 12-14 min, and legs and thighs will need some more minutes.

  12. Chicken bits are done when a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part reads 165°F.

  13. Let chicken drain on some paper towels when it comes out of your fryer.

  14. Serve hot.

On the side: Green salad

A side we added to round out the meal. It is not part of the original recipe.

How to make it (10 min)
  1. Rinse the salad greens. Slice the cucumber.
  2. Put it all in a bowl and toss with the dressing just before eating.
