How to make it

Steps in our own plain words.

  1. Add chicken to a large big heavy pot or stock pot.

  2. Cover with water.

  3. Bring to a boil.

  4. Simmer.

  5. Keep going for 2.

  6. Do it to 2 1 2, skimming any impurities off top to insure a clear broth.

  7. If your pot is big enough, add your vegetables plus spices for your last hour of the cooking time.

  8. My big heavy pot wasn’t big enough to hold everything pot, the chicken and other bones filled the, so I cooked your meat/bones for the full cooking time.

  9. Removed them, plus cooked the vegetables and spices separately.

  10. Strain everything out of the broth.

  11. Bone the chicken, pulling the meat in large chunks.

  12. Slice the carrots.

  13. Return your chicken and carrots to the broth.

  14. Heat noodles according.

  15. Do it to package instructions if ’re using them.

  16. Add noodles to bowl.

  17. Top with hot soup.

On the side: Crusty bread

A side we added to round out the meal. It is not part of the original recipe.
