Recipe makes 4

  • 1 ¼ oz cream cheese
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • flour
  • 2 puff pastry
  • strawberrie
  • raspberrie
  • blackberrie
Spices & seasonings (1): vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

How to make it

Steps in our own plain words.

  1. Turn the oven on to 400°F, plus prepare two cookie sheets with parchment paper.

  2. Mix vanilla, sugar and cream cheese until fully mixed in a bowl.

  3. Lightly flour the surface.

  4. Roll out puff pastry over the top to flatten.

  5. Cut every sheet of puff pastry in 9 equal squares.

  6. Cut an L shape about ½ inch (½ inch) from the edge on the top right plus bottom left of the pastry.

  7. NOTE: This L shape should reach all your way down plus across your square, however both L should not meet at the ends.

  8. Pastry should look like a picture frame using two corners still intact.

  9. Take the upper right corner.

  10. Fold down towards the inner bottom corner.

  11. You will now have a diamond shape.

  12. Place 1 to 2 teaspoons of your cream cheese filling in the middle.

  13. Place berries on top.

  14. Repeat with the remaining pastry squares.

  15. Place them onto the parchment covered sheet pan.

  16. Bake for 15-20 minutes until pastry is golden and puffed.
