Recipe makes 4

  • ¼ cup red onions
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper Shopping tip: Bell pepper (UK recipes call it pepper).
  • 2 ½ cups tomatoes Shopping tip: Fresh, ripe tomatoes (Roma or vine).
  • 1 ½ cups mango
  • 1 cup avocado
  • ¼ cup cilantro Shopping tip: Fresh cilantro (UK: coriander). Use the leaves and soft stems.
  • ⅓ cup lime juice
Spices & seasonings (2): salt, black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

How to make it

Steps in our own plain words.

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.

  2. Mix well.

  3. Cover.

  4. Refrigerate.

  5. Keep going for at least 15 min before serving.

  6. Serve with chips.

  7. I recommend to make this salsa 15 to 20 min before serving, it you make it to it will get a little to soupy.

  8. Have everything chopped and ready and put it together when your guest arrive.
